I love the colors and the sense of cheer conveyed by both the dog and owner. Usually you see pictures of an annoyed person walking their pet in the rain, but both of them seem to be enjoying it!

The energy in the line in this piece is Great! and I Love how happy that pup is walking in the rain LOL. Also the plip plop is another nice touch!

Thank you! I paint over a pencil sketch in photoshop. Nothing really in the way of digital trickery, just solid round brush and a little rough edge brush for some of the final details (which I always go back in and refine with the standard round brush any way). Some of the 'grain' comes from noise that I add right at the end (no more than 3%). I only do this on image for web, most of my work is for print so the noise is to replace the grain the image usually gets from the paper it's printed on.
